I am being careful whenever. I said something is smaller or larger than a photo because sizes are specified, and they are truthful.
This is super cute. You can put matches, up to 4 inch decorative long ones, and it spreads nicely inside. You plugged the bottom with the provided cork and pulled them out of the bottom as needed, re-record it every time the unit itself is made out of glass and seems flawless. The match, striking strip is just a generic one, so if it wears off, you can simply buy another one and replace it.
Cool way to display and store matches. Would be nice to incude another striker for when this one is used up.
This items exudes quality! The glass is pristine and elegant and the cork fits just right. I was initially worried about how easy it would be to insert and remove the matches, but it turns out it is very easy to do. The bottle also included an extra striking strip should you need it, which is a nice bonus. This made a perfect addition to our coffee table to hold matches for our scented candles, so we bought the long white headed matches from the same brand and they go together perfectly!
This is beautiful! A cork at the bottom will hold the matches in, striker is on the side. The magenta definitely looks more like a red but still it’s beautiful. I will say the packaging on it was a very thin cardboard box and the glass is covered in some bubble wrap. Mine only came in a paper amazon envelope and I am VERY surprised it did not get broken or smushed.
This is a beautiful match jar. It is elegant and sleek with the stryker on the jar. It looks stunning on the mantle without taking over. I recommend white tipped matches with the smoked glass.

It's even nicer in person! I bought the match cloche for its useability, but I love the aesthetic! The rounded glass design adds class and sophistication, and the color is just right. I will buy more for holiday gifts! Unique and useful it will work in any household!
I ran out of matches and decided to fill the cloche with my favorite bath salts. Now adding bath salts to my bath water is a meditative experience, like watching an hourglass. I just ordered a second one so I can still have one for my matches :)

This cloche for matches (not sure if it's glass or plastic and I didn't want to throw it to the ground to find out) is quite large so you can definitely store storm matches (the big ones).
You fill the base from the bottom, use the provided cork to seal it and pull a match when you need it. The nice part is that it will keep the matched dry at all time and the scratch stripe outside of the cloche does light a match very fast (seems stronger than the ones on matches boxes).
So a nice add-on to our fireplace in the Alps.
